What is happening?
On the 7th of October 1965,
a shortwave radio station began
broadcasting at a frequency of 1516 kHz.
24 hours a day,
the station transmits a constant sideway signal,
alternating between 789 and 1960 MHz,
39 times per beat.
The origin and purpose of the station are unknown.
Radio amateurs have pinpointed the location of the transmitter
to coordinate its line in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
There are no wires near the location,
only water.
On the 27th of July 2013,
the signal was suddenly interrupted
by a female voice speaking a message.
Ten star,
helix,
orient,
radiant,
zealot,
eulog,
unity,
sonar,
antenna,
lemon,
inwing,
virgin,
hero,
we will take you to the sky.
After the message was broadcast,
a crew of some nautical sets investigated the area of
the Pacific where the transmitter was supposed to lie.
Upon arrival on the site,
the crew reported that the ocean suddenly turned dead
calm and that bright flashing lights filled the sky.
A moment later,
a strange noise signal blocked all communication
traffic and contact with the ship was lost.
The submarine was never found.
Two months after its disappearance,
another voice message was broadcast,
to which the station went silent after
exactly 49 years of non-stance activity.
