Find Me a Baby is a song that I wrote with my producer Frank Rogers.
It was probably one of the happiest
sounding songs that I've ever done.
Normally for me,
there's a little bit of lonesome in there.
But there's no trace of lonesome in this song.
It's all happy and sunshine and roses.
Obviously we catered the song to me and my life,
and so Frank had the idea,
let's get Jennifer and the boys to come in and sing on this thing.
Frank and I both are from South Carolina,
and there's a really heated football
rivalry in the state of South Carolina.
It's Clemson and South Carolina.
He's a Gamecock fan, I'm a Tiger fan.
So when we showed up that day at the studio for
Jennifer and the boys to do their part on this song,
we were all decked out in all Clemson stuff,
just to make Frank mad.
So we had a good time with that.
We took pictures and everything of them doing it.
It was a blast being able to have them recorded in that way.
It's something that we can all treasure
personally for the rest of our life.
